Job title:  Head of Compliance and Contracts Management
Location:  South Manchester - Flexible working - 3 days per week in the office
Salary: up to £60,000 plus benefits
Duration: Initial 6 month contract with potential to be made permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Compliance and Contracts Management to join a prestigious and well-respected organisation!

Key responsibilities include:

To control and manage all aspects of compliance for the business by ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, contractual obligations, as well as promoting best practice in the recruitment industry.

Support group led initiatives and represent the organisation relating to compliance, legal and legislative matters

Provide strategic guidance to the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team and advise on legal and compliance matters.  

Promote a positive risk and compliance-aware culture across the organisation and advise on potential business risk

Control and manage the roll out of new legislative requirements

Manage a comprehensive audit framework identifying risks and opportunities for improvement

Ensure the delivery of quality processes and standards, including the maintenance and development of the ISO 9001 quality management framework

The successful candidate:

Experience in both compliance and contracts management

Solid understanding and proven experience in managing various applicable laws, including, but not limited to Conduct Regulations, GDPR, Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), IR35, Modern Slavery Act, Immigration and Right to Work and other relevant laws.

Passionate about compliance and proven ability to empower

Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with ability to influence

Commercially minded and able to understand commercial requirements

Proven history of proactively liaising with stakeholders and influencing change

A positive approach to problem solving

Recruitment industry experience highly desirable
