MIG welder required to manufacture custom made machinery for the wood industry. Working from pre-set jigs on batch work to working from technical drawings to make bespoke equipment. Predominantly mild steel, but occasionally other alloys. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to weld at a production rate, ensuring the products are cosmetically acceptable. You must have good working skills on MIG equipment to be able to adjust current / voltage , wire speed and gas flow to suit individual components. Ideal candidate will be flexible in working and assist in other areas of mechanical assembly when required.
