Contracts Assistant – London – 3 months – £15.32 PAYE per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Assistant to work for a major Higher Education institution based in London on a 3 month contract. This role will suit candidates with experience of providing contract admin support to Contract Managers. Candidates with experience of working within administration within the higher education sector will have a distinct advantage. Candidates with experience Worktribe are highly desirable.



  • Entering standard factual information into draft agreements using standard business templates, including studentships, amendments, non-disclosure agreements and subcontracts
  • Assisting the Contracts Team with the preparation of contracts status reports as required and providing useable management information and data.
  • Building close working relationships with relevant internal department administrators or managers.
  • Undertaking searches of internal systems as required by a Contracts Manager or other senior stakeholders
  • Preparing and distributing contracts and supporting documentation both internally and externally to the business, including organizing the signature process liaising with stakeholders as appropriate
  • Confirming that administrative and financial diligence checks have been completed by the appropriate internal Department.
  • Monitoring and chasing replies or actions both internally and external, including responses to queries or points of negotiation.
  • Assisting the senior management team with the arrangement of internal and external meetings, collating agenda points and producing minutes as required.
  • Checking that the documentation on Worktribe is complete and preparing appropriate hand-over documentation prior to requesting the allocation of new Research Account codes.
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks to support the functioning of the Contracts Team, including Purchase Order creation and management and monitoring and responding to queries from the Contracts Team general and dedicated email inboxes.
