Desktop Support Analyst

Advantage Resourcing are now searching for a Desktop Support Analyst to join a client in the Financial Sector based in Central London.

A third party currently have ownership of our client’s IT estate and they have not been satisfied with their performance – This is where you come in. As this role is the first of its kind for our client, this position has the potential to become a Service Desk Manager, Infrastructure Engineer or IT Manager.

In this role you will be the main, go to person for Desktop Support and escalating issues/tickets to the third party when necessary.

Financial/Professional service experience is key for this position and it must be noted that this is an office-based role as of 17th May.

  • Dealing with senior stakeholders/partners

Key Responsibilities as Desktop Support Analyst

  • Providing management and oversight of existing Infrastructure, including Network connectivity and Desktops
  • Ensuring that service levels are achieved by 3rd party vendors
  • They have several upcoming projects, one of which is that they will be installing Mimecast
  • Working under pressure and to coordinate between multiple vendors
