Role: HR Business Partner
Rate: up to £351 per day UMBRELLA / £256 PAYE
IR35 status: In scope
Duration of contract: 6 months
A high-level review that was undertaken in early 2018 showed that the organisation has an opportunity to modernise and improve the overall operating framework, its systems, processes, standards and policies. They need to ensure we have the right skills required to undertake the job now and, in the future, and where we need to develop these. They need to ensure there is a training and development framework to support staff and deliver the skills required in a timely fashion.
The People and Capability Work Stream contained within the Commercial Plan includes the requirement to design and deliver an effective Defence Commercial Function Resourcing Strategy.
The strategy must enable us to improve our performance in how we recruit our staff, how we manage and plan our resources, and help us to identify and reduce skills shortfalls across the organisation. It is to include a deliberate strategy to improve diversity and inclusivity across the function Skills and previous experience developing resourcing strategies, gathering the future vision and articulating the future requirement, development routes and delivery mechanisms is required.
Key skills required:
- Experienced HR professional
- Ideally Government and/or Public sector experience
- Resourcing strategy experience
- Existing SC clearance highly desirable
