Our client who is a major rail organisation are looking for a Corporate Writer to help with an imperative project

The Corporate Writer is responsible for producing a coherent narrative that tells the story of the first ten years of our client and producing content to be used in communications designed to tell the story of the development of the company alongside the development of the project. Working with the Corporate Researcher and Creative Services, the Corporate Writer will draft and deliver different types of content, including a formal publication on ‘The Story of our client’.
Reviewing existing data, documents and other materials including timelines and decisions points in the development of the company and project to form a narrative story for HS2.
Commissioning and reviewing further researcher to support the narrative.
Designing, managing and drafting the production of narrative content in various forms.
Working with the Corporate Researcher and Creative Services to scope, develop and deliver a formal publication from the research that tells the story of HS2 Ltd and the project.
Drafting, editing and project management of content delivery for the formal publication.
Working with policy teams to assure and sign off materials.
Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work. Support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
Experience required for this role:
Ability to design, manage and implement projects for the production of narrative content.
Writing skills, including the ability draw together disparate information to produce a strong narrative
Influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external contacts at all levels
Ability to grasp complex information quickly and understand how it fits into a wider picture
Project management and organisation skills, including the ability to set and achieve demanding outputs and outcomes working independently.
Knowledge of large infrastructure projects and government processes
Knowledge of HS2 Ltd structure and purposes
Experience of working at senior levels in Government or public sector projects or clients
Experience of writing and delivering narrative content on large complex issues
Planning and overseeing publication projects
