Job Title:  HR Business Partner

Location: London Canary Wharf

Duration: 6 months

Pay rate: £370p/d

Brief Description of Role: 

The purpose of this role is to provide HR expertise and contribute as a business leader to the performance of the water contracts on behalf of my clients Gas and Water function. The role will be accountable for working with the Head of Contracts and their leadership teams to define deliver and implement the people strategy and annual plan. It's expected that this will integrate a best in class offering from each of the partner organisations which are adapted to achieve Alliance/Joint Venture outcome

Team Environment
: Geographically dispersed team who speak at a minimum on a weekly basis and meet once a month. G&W HR sit with in the extended Rail and Utilities HR team. The team collaborate well together and speak as a collective on a weekly basis. Whereabouts are shared weekly to encourage co-location.

Essential Criteria: Experience of leading Organisational Effectiveness programmes and complex change Demonstrable experience working within the context of complex, matrix organisations Experience of project managing initiatives relevant to HR Technical knowledge and broad understanding of ER context – i.e. TUPE and re-organisations The individual will have highly developed commercial skills, be emotionally intelligent and able to coach and influence senior colleagues

Desirable Criteria: CIPD qualified

  • Ideal Background: Generalist who has managed large multi-site teams Multiple stakeholders Past experience working in a Joint venture and or Alliance 
  • Qualifications: Masters level or CIPD
