**Purchasing Assistant/ Purchase Ledger Assistant – 12 weeks contract – £16.97 per hour PAYE – Leading Defence Organisation – Preston**
Our client is a leading Defence Organisation based in Preston who are looking for an Interim Purchasing Assistant to join their team on a 12 weeks contract.

Supporting the Logistics Transformation team, you will be responsible for evaluating and reconciling the current invoices in their system to the receipt and purchase paid values in order to allow the system to automatically close down the current queries. This will cover all customers, however will involve no interaction with ITAR / Technical data.
Experience required for this role:
Ideally experience working within a logistics/ supply chain environment
Reconciling invoices and purchase order cleansing
Purchase paid experience
Ability to follow internal processes and procedures
Ability to handle queries
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office IT packages
Excellent communication skills
Minimum security clearance is required for this role (BPSS)
