Advantage Resourcing is seeking candidates to apply for an Senior Programme Manager vacancy for a very large and established London University.

UKCRIC requires a highly skilled programme manager with substantial management experience to provide skilled operational support to the CN Executive. The candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery of the initial CN grant, including coordinating interventions, building cooperation between the portfolio’s thirteen partner Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the overall management of their interdependencies. This unique opportunity offers the post holder a unique, complex and inspiring environment in which to apply their skills to effect genuine coordination and collaboration across the UKCRIC community (or ‘Strands’ – the CN, DAFNI, Urban Observatories, Test Facilities) and the associated research programmes to ensure they achieve more than the sum of their parts. The programme manager will be required to have hands-on experience in in multi - if not ‘trans’ - disciplinary innovation initiatives; and significant professional experience working across different sector and/or stakeholder groups and/or regions of the UK. Finally, the Senior Programme Manager must have an undergraduate background in a related field to UKCRIC. A postgraduate degree in a related field is desirable. The ability to work with a multitude of HEI partners (organisational) and individual stakeholders from varying sectors, geographies and disciplines is essential, and an understanding of the cultural norms and practices of working in partnership is also a strong advantage. Due to the portfolio’s dispersed membership and set of activities, candidates must be confident with communicating virtually and with all the necessary tools and platforms to enable efficient and professional communication at all times. The programme manager will co-ordinate with the wider CEGE professional services where appropriate.
