Paige Jones is a Senior Consultant in our IT recruitment team. She specialises in software and web development roles across the North West and West Midlands.
Joining Advantage Resourcing in November 2023, Paige was drawn to the role as she wanted to work for a big brand – one that had more opportunities for her to develop her career; but also, a business that gave her access to better resources to service her clients well.
In her own words: “The diversity and inclusive feel when I came in for a meet and greet was encouraging. There’s a lot of recruiters with different experiences that I can learn from.”
Although she’s worked in IT recruitment in the Greater Manchester area for several years; she wasn’t always a recruiter. She was convinced to join the industry by a friend of a friend who met her and knew she had the personal skills to make it a success. And, having achieved 3 promotions in her first year; she realised she was incredibly good at it!
Her career started as a Financial Advisor for Lloyds, and she’s also worked for Virgin Media. This customer service focus means that she’s strong in listening first; to work out what people want and need; and that goes for clients and candidates alike.
Covid-19 put a temporary halt to Paige’s long-term travel plans, but she’s back planning her next trip. Her downtime is spent mainly with her family (Hi Mum) and trying every cuisine that the Manchester food scene has to offer.
